Our family had a great experience working with TP Builders. As first time new construction buyers, we had a lot of questions, and Tom and Laura were always available to answer our questions and provide practical advise that made sense for what we wanted in our new home, not for their own bottom line. In fact, every single third party vendor we worked with during the building process confirmed that TP Builders provides the most generous allowances of any builder in the area for lighting, appliances, cabinets, and other features. Tom’s pride in his work was obvious from day one as he insisted on high quality building materials and was constantly in site personally overseeing the work from framing through to completion of the project (he even individually picked out our shrubs). Like everyone else, we’ve heard horror stories about endless construction delays and excuses. But TP Builders finished our home within 2 weeks of the projected target date (approximately 5 months total project time from permit date to closing date). We love our home and are pleased to give TP Builder the highest possible recommendation.

We recently purchased and moved into our new house in Troubador Estates in Selkirk. My wife and I had been searching for a house for over a year, and discovered this one early on.  We found that as we continued our search, we continually compared all of the houses that we were seeing to this one.

The main thing that attracted us to this house was the quality of the construction.  I was taken by how cleanly all the utility work was done in the basement and how effectively all of the finish work was done throughout the house.  The attention to detail was very obvious, and for us, very much apprecitated!

We have been in the house a short time but it has been fantastic!  The folks at TP Builders have been available to answer all questions and point us in the right direction when we needed help.

In 2005 we decidedd that we would sell our home and have a new one built.  Since we were not in a hurry we had plenty of time to research builders in the area.  We met with a number of builders, about a dozen in all.  After completing some fairly exhaustive research the decision was easy.  TP Builders had an excellent reputation, a very competitive price, and the quality of home that they built seemed to be a step above the homes we were shown by other builders.

We worked closely with Tom throughout the entire construction phase.  He demonstrated old world craftsmanship and work ethic combined with an in-depth knowledge of the latest industry trends. Whenever we had questions about possible changes to the plans Tom would always make excellent suggestions without trying to push any high priced upgrades.  One of the best suggestions he made, which I am glad we agreed to, was to increase the height of the basement ceiling.  The cost was relatively modest in comparison to the overall costs of building a new home and the return was tremendous for someone that wants to have a finished basement.

Tom told us he could break ground for our home in October 2005 and that construction would be completed prior to May 2006.  Actual completion was late March of 2006, about six weeks early, and no surprises!  As we did the final walk through with Tom to develop a "punch list", his craftsmanship became even more evident.  He noted minor touchups that I would have never noticed and had them corrected immediately.  We have been in our home for almost three years now and we remain very satisfied home owners.
